Northwest’s 787 Order…and Miller Lite, Revisited

As rumored on these pages 2 weeks ago, Northwest Airlines ordered 18 of the new Boeing 787 Dreamliners.  This is a huge blow to Airbus, of whom Northwest was a huge customer.  (frankly, aircraft orders aren’t exactly my cup of tea, and could probably sustain its own website…but not by me.)

And as a follow up to the news I broke EXCLUSIVELY here about Northwest switching to Miller Lite, the AP has glommed on to my breaking news, putting a story out on the wire with the headline, "Northwest Airlines Replaces Bud Light."  Tricky, AP, very tricky taking the Bud Light angle…
