American Express Platinum Card 50k Point Signup Offer Is Alive (Again)

If you were thinking about getting the Amex Platinum card, but were holding out for an offer better than the bonus of 25,000 Membership Rewards points, you’re in luck.

No, the 100,000 point bonus from the summer is not back – you’re not in that much luck.

The 50,000 point offer is alive (or still alive; or back alive – I’m not sure, to be honest. I just know that it’s alive). Use this link, but be sure to sign out of your Amex account before using that link, or you’ll get an error.

To earn the bonus, spend $1000 in 3 months (certainly doable). $450 annual fee is not waived in the first year (of course).

Yes, there is a Mercedes Benz-branded Platinum Amex with the same bonus, but that costs $25 more. I know that even Amex Platinum holders want to save $25.
